MBTS (2,2'-Dibenzothiazyl Disulfide), also known as Accelerator DM, is a widely used thiazole-based rubber vulcanization accelerator for natural and synthetic rubber compounds. It offers excellent processing safety, stable curing performance, and good compatibility with a broad range of elastomers. MBTS is commonly employed as both a primary and secondary accelerator in sulfur curing systems, providing reliable vulcanization characteristics and consistent product quality. MBTS is extensively used in the manufacture of tires, tubes, conveyor belts, hoses, footwear, industrial rubber goods, seals, gaskets, and molded rubber products.
